Complete garbage!!

I saw clips from a meerkat documentary once that looked great and I thought this was it. NOPE! I can't even watch the rest of this crap and I'm only 26 minutes in.

The main plot lines in this "documentary" are so fake and manufactured that you start doubting whether any of it is true.
I'm sure every documentary filmaker has to make up for the limitations of live action by going back and editing in some extra footage to add context but these losers just decided to follow the reality tv genre straight down the drain and simply make up all the storylines from scratch. I'm surprised they didn't throw in a lesbian kiss and a cheating boyfriend!

You should be ashamed of yourselves and we should all pray the rest of the documentary industry doesn't follow suit.

They actually have a scene where a meerkat is running across the ground barely escaping being crushed by a grazing giraffe. The scene is obviously fabricated and I don't think a giraffe ever got within 100 yards of the meerkats. I have my doubts that a meerkat would ever walk around underneath a stomping giraffe anyway (I'm sure these idiots couldn't care less either way) but the scene is so obviously fabricated that it's hard to watch. There isn't one frame that shows the giraffe anywhere near the meerkat.
All they can show is a giraffe leg stomping inches from a meerkats head as he scurries around.

Now think about that. These morons actually made a meerkat run around a studio or wherever they were while they batted at it with a fake giraffe leg for the camera in order to enhance a scene that didn't even happen in the first place and probably wouldn't happen ever.

Have some damn respect for the genre.

Definitely edited, but it's possible they got that shot at some point. Squirrels dodge cars all the time
