Noticing the car and driving

Maybe someone has seen this, I haven't read all the posts. But, first the car they are driving has the steering wheel on the right, like the USA. Okay, they might have a rental car and it's American made, but Charlie and his Grandma are from England.
I noticed in one scene, they are driving away and driving on the right, while in the other scenes they are on the left, like they would be in Italy.
I can't think of any explanation for this.
I'm about 3/4 of the way through it. It is a sweet movie and beautiful scenery!

I know my replay comes incredibly late, but I've just seen the movie and I was annoyed by the very same thing. In Italy, they drive on the right side of the road, in England on the left. I've noticed the licence plates were Italian, so that explains the "correct" placements of the steering wheel. However, the whole driving on the left in Italy thing still is very much incorrect. I think they flipped the image to make it look better, corresponding it with the way viewers portray "going forward" (since going to the left feels like they are driving back, pretty much like reading a book: starting from left to right). But regardless: they should've just reshoot these scenes because it's annoying as hell

Also the street signs were in english. Is this normal for Italy?
