i just got this game for my wii and the green button worked for a while then it stopped working then i turned it on this morning and it worked and i turned it off to play sin and punishment but when i went back to GH it dident work anymore can anyone help me?

You might have a messed up guitar. My friend had a similar problem with the red button. Sometimes when we played he would strum for the red button and it didn't respond. We figured that the handle wasn't fully all the way in with the head. I would say maybe take out the handle and put it back in and make sure it's in all the way or just buy a new guitar.
