I'm about ready to stab someone at Microsoft......

So on May 13th (yes, I remember the date) of this year, my Xbox 360 flashed the lovely "red lights of death". Just an annoyance, I buy another one in July. I play Guitar Hero like I do any other time. It randomly freezes, and not even six months after I get a new one, I get the lights AGAIN!!!!!

I know it's got a warranty and all, but it sucks!!!

reply

Probably the main reason why I bought a PS3

reply

And the main reason I'm getting one

reply

I took mine out of the box, set it up and its probably been sitting in the same spot since i got it. I bought Assassins Creed and when i took the disc out it was scratched to sh*t. Stupid Xbox

reply

How is it the Xbox's fault that the game disc was scratched before you took it out of the box?

Wouldn't that be the fault of the people who packaged it...

reply

because 360's are garb, you dont ever hear about someone sending back their ps3 do you?

For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, if I live I will kill you, if I die you are forgiven

reply

My friend's PS3 actually did have to be sent back. It was not working right off the bat

reply

I've already sent mine in for warranty repairs twice.

Meh, not a big deal. I'd rather have a quirky system that plays games than a reliable system that plays Blu-Ray.

first of all, fight night round 3 was first on the xbox 360. So was assassin's creed. Warhawk is only online which is ASS. Ratchet And Clank is one of my favorite series of all time, but they really fl_lCked up with the new one.

and god of wa--er... uhm... "Heavenly Sword" is a total rip off of god of war. (great game)

and this (this is the biggy) big price of $600 is totally way to much money for a video game system. And don't bitch and complain about the fact that they dropped the price down, because they took away all the GOOD sh!t that the PS3 had! I actually would play the old PS3, but they totally *beep* up with that. If you're going to drop the price, don't bullsh!t the fans by dropping that, and the quality.

The Wii is a good system. It's a good system, but it could've been better. They good of just sacrificed the "Motion Sensor Control" sh!t, and added good graphics. I'm not saying that a game needs good graphics to be good, but the three reasons that they should've added good graphics are these.

1. the fact that the gaming companies are only giving the good stuff to the systems with good graphics. For example: Metal gear Solid 4: Guns Of Patriots, AND resident Evil 5 would've been on the Wii if it weren't for the bad graphics. Notice that the Metal Gear and Resident Evil series, were both available on the Gamecube when it was the big thing. (Microsoft xbox was famous for the halo series but nothing more) Resident Evil 4 was big on the PS2, Gamecube, but not the xbox. (I do know that the Wii has resident evil 4, because I have it, and umbrella chronicles)

The Point Is... This is supposed to be "Next-Gen" game systems folks. And I think that the graphics on the Wii are not what you would call "Next-Gen"

2. Motion Sensor Controls. This is annoying as hell at times. If you have a really crowded house (like mine) you will have trouble with it. Along with the fact that I have 2 younger siblings, that follow me around WAY to much. one of them is 5, and usually is in front of the sensor bar all the time, which really burns my ass. You will keep saying "get the hell out of way of the sensor bar, it won't pick up!" but the point is... you should'nt need to do that. Play it like a video game, not a remote. and another thing is the lack of buttons. The Wii-Mote only has 9 buttons (including the nunchuck) so that's why a great game like Guitar Hero III will only come in the expensive form... not "just the game" like the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Although I will admit, the PS3 is not the king of systems, neither is the wii, the Xbox 360 is ALMOST king, but it's not the best system EVER. (excuse me saying it was KING) I like the Wii, and the Xbox 360, but I have my differences with the PS3 because it has a lack of games, when you go online, not as much people are there; also the price (like I mentioned before) is terribly high, and due to the price drop, it dropped the quality as well.

ALL OF THE SYSTEMS ARE FUN TO PLAY no doubt about it. They all have some good games, but the PS3 is my least favorite.

Anyway in conclusion, I think that the xbox 360 is the best system, perhaps because it hasn't broken down on me, and even if it did the three LED lights of death, I have steady hands and have fixed 4 of them before. (got it off of youtube. You need VERY steady hands to do this) but I don't play it 24/7 either. I never really have played video games for more than a 5 hour period without taking a break. I think it's bad for you're health and should'nt be done. I take turns from xbox 360, and my PC (steam account).

if anybody agrees with this novel I just wrote reply and I'll write you back.

oh, by the way, me and my friend did something I want to forget. It's entitled: "Senior Cow's Wii Review" and I play the "Wii Fanboy" in it.

Guys, both systems are awesome. This console war is stupid. They'll fight for our money and we'll get more and more price drops. WE win no matter what.

uhm... ahem does the PS3 have dead rising, halo 3, and gears of war?

of course not because the PS3 sucks! :D

and I know gears of war is on the PC, but it's also owned by Microsoft.

[deleted]

what do you have against dead rising?

As someone who has the Xbox 360 (or did....) AND PS3, I can safely say that while the 360 is amazing, the PS3 is equally great. Dead Rising is a really innovative game, but games like Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Metal Gear Solid 4, and God of War 3, prove that the PS3 can hold it's own. Not to mention the Remote Play feature. That being said, the Xbox 360 is just as great.

reply

yeah uhm... you see, Sony has been sucking nintendo's cock for like, 10 years now. They stole motion sensor. :(

OK I'll admit it... I like the Xbox 360, the Wii, AND the PS3 because they're all fun to play, but I'm just saying that the xbox 360 is better because... well, it has more games. I'm not really looking forward to "Little Big Planet" THAT much, but I might rent off a PS3 to RENT it. I don't think I'll BUY a PS3 EVER; yet it's still fun to play, it doesn't match up to the 360. The graphics on the 360 are JUST A HAIR better than the PS3. The games that the PS3 has are good, but some were canceled... so... yeah. The Wii is good and everything, but yeah... not my top pick.

Anyway... I probably buy the PS3 for ONE GAME AND ONE GAME ONLY.

that game is "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of Patriots"

OK, let's stop arguing, because all the systems are almost equally great, and like the picture online of the mentally challanged kid running says

"Arguing On The Internet Is Like Running In The Special Olympics. Even If You Win... You're Still Retarded."

I rest my case.
