read the inspirational book

For those who are unaware, there is a wonderful book telling the story of Catherine Hamlin, her husband Reg and their lifelong dedication to these women, and the building of the Fistula Hospital. It is called "The Hospital By The River". I loved the book and this extraordinary film. Catherine has been my personal hero for many years.
