saw this one at an spontaneous screening at a film school. sorry to say its terrible. its got all the norms, cliche teenagers, bad special effects, no plot. granted this was a rough cut, and it was shot on a budget. the script will drag it down no matter what though. dont wait for this one.
I saw the same film-school screening. It was a rough cut, with many incomplete effects and that was stated prior to showing. I saw the film again in Nashville last night at the Nashville Film Festival and have to say it was much better. The gore and make-up effects are great! After the film the director said that the effects are by one of the best studios in Hollywood, Academy Award winners for films like Bram Stoker's Dracula. It showed! There were also a lot more of them than what I saw in the earlier rough cut, which gives them more of a showcase.
I would just say, don't judge any film based when it's a work in progress. The version of Trailer Park of Terror I saw last night looked like a complete version and it was miles better than the rough cut.
Nope, can't have been complete. TPoT was scheduled to tour with the Fantasyfilmfest in Germany (now, four MONTHS later) and it was pulled off the timetables in all cities after only one screening, when the organizers decided that it was unwatchable in its current form. No details were given, but that's what they told us.
You talking to me here? LMAO. Asshat, I fell asleep during The Grudge. Maybe I'll put in a Rob Zombie flick or my copy of The Strangers tho. I did just watch Midnight Movie...kind of fun. Or maybe Behind the Mask. Dig that Leslie Vernon.
Yeah I was a little disappointed myself, having waited for this movie to come my way only to feel a little let down. However Nichole Hiltz and her "two best friends" made up for it.
