When Norma agreed on a "deal" with The Man, it wasn't really explained what that deal was. Sure, she got back at those that tormented her in the trailer park, but in the afterlife she seemed a bit chummy with them. A friend told me he felt she basically got to rule over them in their ghostly state, but that didn't seem like much of a deal breaker to me. Any ideas maybe from folks who have read the graphic novel or know more about "The Deal" ?

shareyeah even i don't get and hate the 'plot part'of norma ganging up with those losers in the after-life and coming back together to create havoc. doesn't really make sense.that part could have been carefully written differently.also i really hate the fact that she came back as a villain.i was rooting for her...aaarrrghhhh!!!

It's only mentioned once in the movie, but yes, you are assuming correctly. Since she knew that they were all in love with her, she gets to lord over them and command them and they are all still in love with her, but their love will be ever unrequited. Long story short, they all want her but can't have her... for eternity.
