I myself lost my three closest in the last 2 years (my father aged 54, mother aged 52 and finally my grandmother in June) and the issue of loss, getting to grips with it and moving on is one I know inside out.
So I was switching through the channels today and stumbled over this film, about 10 minutes in, I thought to myself "blah, a tv-drama starring Dean Cain!?" and was ready to change the channel, then something weird happened; maybe it was the story it concerned, or that the scene I fell into seemed very credible and solid, but I stayed with the film! In the end I was surprisingly moved and touched by such a rare story of forgiveness, in itself quite rare from the US where we're used to tv-shows like "Law & Order" where the DA's push for death penalties and justice in only the medieval "eye for an eye"-mentality. A great surprise, indeed, and the 6.4 IMDb-score proves it, as made-for-tv-movies starring Dean Cain very rarely get above average. Cain was surprisingly effective, but he also had the blessings of a great supporting cast, and the writers clearly knew the subject matter, very believable in every aspect.
So ignore the extremely childish baby who created this thread. He clearly needs to grow up, while the rest of us can be happy we got to see something so rare as a tv-movie that was actually credible and worked :)
