Ok...so its pretty certain that Eve was the first one turned....but my question is what was she turned by? Was it Dead Mary? Was it some unknown unseen force? What was the whole point of the Dead Mary scene (and title of the movie) if it had nothing to do with the movie? and if it wasn't Dead Mary that turned her...was the turned before she came to the cabin.

I honestly liked the movie and I know some of these questions don't have answers because they are open to how you interpet them. But I'm just wondering what you think.

Like it sez on the main page for this movie, in the original script Dead Mary was supposed to come out of the lake and start picking off everyone. Then the director decided to change it to an unseen evil force that takes people over, as in John Carpenter's "The Thing" or "Invasion of the Body Snatchers."
On top of that it doesn't seem like the evil force begins with the witch-in-the-mirror game, given that the gas station at the beginning is mysteriously empty and the campers wonder aloud why there's no sign of neighbors.
So what started as a Dead Mary movie was turned by hasty rewrites into a generic demon movie that could about Pazuzu or Cthulu for all anyone knows.

I assume that Eve was turn by Ted. Although we do not see Ted throughout the whole movie. Apparently it suppose to be his cabin, so I'm assuming that Eve might have somehow came in contact with Ted, which is why the cabin was unlock.

Ambiguous when she was turned. Could have been before everyone else. Could have been during the game, but that could have just been something came through window and bit her, she bled and then healed quickly.
