Famous actors played by nobodies

Did anyone notice a striking resembelence to popular actors in other horror/supernatural movies?
Amber - Paris Hilton - Wax Museum
Matt - Jared Padelecki - Supernatural
Dash - Lochlyn Munro - Freddy vs. Jason and others (Though he's usually a cop)
Lilly - Michelle Trachtenberg - Buffy the Vampier Slayer
and I recognized Kim, Eve, and Baker but I can't think of how. But I thought they were all someone else when the movie started.

And the actors in this movie aren't nobodies, per-se, but how many people really recognized their names when the credits rolled?

But I saw this last night and it's really hard to find a horror movie that scares me. This movie scared me.
I think mostly because of the paranoia aspect.
And when I was growing up, I used to play Bloody Mary in a bathroom at my day care that I swear was haunted.

I thought this movie was pretty good, though. Not something I'll rush out and spend money on, but definitely something I'll watch again.

Jared Padelecki, Lochlyn Muro? Who? Come on it give me a break, Paris Hilton famous actor. She is famous but certainly not for acting. It is not like the people you named are famous either. Let's get some perspective here. lol it is not like we are talking about a household name like Bette Davis or Denzel Washington. lol

Lol I didn't recognize their names, but I do recognize those dudes.. One of them is a goofy guy you're almost guaranteed to have seen in something, he played "goofy, kinda jock looking dude" in Scary Movie, he also played the "goofy, kinda jock looking cop" in Freddy Vs Jason, and the "goofy, kinda jock looking guy" in Night at the Roxbury.

The other one played "tall, lanky dude with shaggy brown hair" in House of Wax, and he also played "tall, lanky dude with shaggy brown hair" in some other movie (I think it was also horror) but I can't remember which, maybe one of the Texas Chainsaw remakes?

I'm sorry, but that makes me laugh. I've been a fan of Reagan Pasternak, the actress who played Amber, for awhile and she really does not remind me of Paris. That's the first time I've seen her play a rather wimpy player, but she did it so well.

Michelle Trachtenberg wasn't in this movie at all, so I'm a little confused by your post.

He wasn't saying Trachtenberg was in this movie, but rather that one of the actresses in the movie reminded him of her. I disagree. Maggie Castle is *'WAY* hotter than Michelle Trachtenberg. <G>
