I mean, he sure made a huge effort towards it. I've seen videogames with better *beep* even infomercials with better acting than his.
I cant hate him though, it made for a much needed laugh, i giggled like an idiot whenever he came on, and i kept trying to guess what he'd say next. (I half expected to let out some "Lllleeeet heerrh GGGooooooh!!!!" or something at some point. You know, a really overused, cheesy line. But alas, he didnt.
We had no idea about his performance, but we were blown away. All we could talk about (beside the idiotic "storyline") was his acting.
I mean everyone in the movie just said their line and didn't give a dam. But he realized he was in a bad movie, and just said hell with it I am going for it. Kudos Mr. Klein, you almost made me not regret that I watched this movie, almost.

Klein has never been that good of an actor, to date he was only watchable in American Pie, other than that he really isn't worth that much of a look especially in an action movie I.E. Rollerball. But he wasn't the biggest problem of this movie.

No he was not the biggest problem in this movie, on the contrary I think he was probably the best part.
