I think that if they have to do this they should let Joey Ansah direct it since he has respect for the source material and showed that he could make good fights with Street Fighter, just in case y'all dont know what I'm talking about, watch here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2ZXSzaUIBQ

What do you guys think?

yeah and I'm actually happy about this because I didn't want LOCL to make Hollywood give up on Street Fighter. They just need to give Joey Ansah(SF:Legacy) the franchise.

But if they the SF:Legacy guy do a theater film that focuses on Ryu,then it could be great. The Punisher has had three different attempts at live action(failed each time) and is getting another attempt by Marvel Studios,so why not let Street Fighter get the same amount of chances?

Yeah, why not but if a third strike occurs, I think SF's out.

I agree with that, sweetre. I am hoping that people will give Street Fighter another shot. Joey Ansah did really well with Street Fighter Legacy that he needs to be the creative consultant or something.

I absolutely would support another Street fighter movie ONLY if they have a mini-series or longer of shows first. Like Joey said, the lore is so full of characters to that make a movie and jam a meaningless cameo of a really great character would be a disgrace. A Street Fighter series would be awesome and would be a great segue to a movie and would stave off the cravings for a new movie if the series is made right.

I think the new Street Fighter movie needs to start again with remake no following sequel to The Legend Of Chun Li and that Van Damme 1994 film this film will reboot the series following the story on Ryu and Ken when they start training karate with Gouken in Japan and also talk about the tournament and follow the story to the canon it has to be like that short Street Fighter movie that Joey Ansah did so I think Capcom needs to rethink if the directors and filmmakers want to make the Street Fighter movie thay need to play the game and look at the storyline first otherwise it becomes a *beep* movie script no movie.
