Street Fighter Movie reboot

I think the new Street Fighter movie needs to start again with remake no following sequel to The Legend Of Chun Li and that Van Damme 1994 film this film will reboot the series following the story on Ryu and Ken when they start training karate with Gouken in Japan and also talk about the tournament and follow the story to the canon it has to be like that short Street Fighter movie that Joey Ansah did so I think Capcom needs to rethink if the directors and filmmakers want to make the Street Fighter movie thay need to play the game and look at the storyline first otherwise it becomes a *beep* movie script no movie.

This is a messy post, but I think I agree with you for the most part.

With Chun Li, they were trying to make a "realistic" plot for the movie. Blah. Give me nonsense and crazy moves and awesome fight scenes. It should be entertaining to watch more than anything else.

Since Capcom has already said that they're interested in making another live action SF film......I'm sure that they'll wait until Fox and Hyde Park lose the rights so that they can work with a company that they can trust.

They should bring in Robin Morningstar and Chris Notarile. Robin Morningstar managed to write and produce a movie of frickin' Wonder Boy (blue hair and all) and make it work, and Chris Notarile has been knocking out fan boy films for years and the two of them actually teamed up on a Street Fighter movie pitch and shot the first ten minutes of the movie and it was good.

Here's who i should think will do the film.

Louis Leterrier can directed and be the screenstory.

Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman can co-write or Len Wiseman as writer and co-screenstory.

John Woo and Terence Chang can executive produced.

Joey Ansah can co-produced and be the fight coordinator.

Yuen Woo-ping can do the stunt coordinator.

Corey Yuen can action directed.

Brian Tyler can do the music.
