I think they may have. When I was in Charleston in September, I heard a rumor that they were cancelled. I asked Ginger and Corie Hipp in person about this and they both kind of brushed off the question and said something like stay tuned, but it didn't sound positive.
shareI'm sorry to hear this, but they should have stuck with the original formula and cast (except Carlos...I love him). Bring Kevin and the originals back and let us see how it's done, not the marketing technique. I loved watching how they spruced up an older house. I live in one now and spent 2 hours at Home Depot today making a mental list that was so long that I left without buying a thing. I have learned a lot about building issues watching the original show.
My new favorite show is Holmes on Homes on Discovery Home. He goes in and corrects all the errors of the "hired contractors". It's based in Ontario, Canada. He's my new hero. Do it right the first time.
They stiil have "The Real Estate Pros"(I hate that title) on TLC's website but I haven't heard of any word on cancellation as of yet. There does need to be some changes back to their old format. Back when A&E canned them the board was nonstop in Trademarks favor but since they changed it to the "Watch Ginger and Richard drive around while Carlos paints" show, The board is like a cemetary. Towards the last show of the season it turned into a infomercial for Trademark. I'd feel kind of pissed if it turned out that I verbally bitchslapped A&E over Richard's treatment and he turned out to be the real estate equivilent of the Oxy-Clean guy...
shareI think it's coming back for another season in 2008. Last night I was watching a show on TLC and they showed a promo for TLC's upcoming shows in 2008 and I saw a quick shot of Richard. So I'm sure it will be back. They probably are just filming new episodes since finished their season this past summer.

I think I know what promo you are talking about and I have seen it many times trying to see if I see anybody from The Real Estate Pros in it, but I don't remember seeing anybody from it. Now they are bringing back Trading Spaces with Paige Davis at the end of this month in their time slot...so it don't look very good. Others are right..they have changed the format too much and went away from what people loved about the show. I hope it has not been cancelled. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
