Old reruns

How does Byron Allen get away with changing the dates on these old shows? Is he trying to pass them off as new?

reply

He gets away with it because in the wee hours, nobody cares. It's obvious the shows are several years old. The clues are Byron's short monologue at the beginning about "current" events at the time (Bush making another bad decision, Paris and Lindsay getting arrested). Also, at the end of some episodes, the comics promote themselves and tell viewers to check them out on MySpace (this was before Facebook and Twitter).

That being said, the middle part of the show doesn't feel dated at all.
