Started off slow but was great the second half...

I was not sure where this movie was going to go the first 30 minutes but once the main event occured it became very powerful. The scene where the father was questioning who owned what-it was a realistic reminder of the rights that gay people have over each other estates-nothing. Unless it is in writing, the next blood relative has the right to do as they please and the lovers have no legal rights at all.

I wish they would have gotten rid of some of the friends and focused more on just a couple of them-like the drug girl or the big mama of the group.

I loved the ending pool table scene-it made me smile.

7 out of 10.

I wish I had liked this more than I did. The cast was nice but I agree they should have pared the group down a bit and provided more plot for some of them. Overall, I thought it was too monotone. Italians are supposed to be fiery people, aren't they. OK that's a stereotype but still this movie was too one note.

I liked the film.

But the very last scene at the ping pong table was sad. When you just see the table looking all weathered and beat up.

It showed time had moved on and you wondered if they were all still friends.

Sad ending.

I look it as a bittersweet ending. Everything passes, including this group of friends. Enjoy your friends and life now, because everything changes.
