I think this is not a comedy after all

almost everyone agree ; either it is not funny or it is too avant-garde humour.

but if you see this film as a kind of critic of some aspect of the modern occidental society it makes more sense. it deals about identity crisis, gangs (very American old-fashioned ones in this movie), cult of beauty, lack of charisma.

it's more an experimental film than a comedy (I confess I laughed loud 2 or 3 times, my friends & I also stole some expression from the film which became memes : "chivers" instead of saying hello or "last one is a Phil Collins fan").

and the background ambiance is also very nice : retro-futuristic surrealistic French America with Tellier's, Mr Oizio's and a bit of sebAstian's unique musical ambiance (also kind of retro-futuristic). That's an experience.

and who could play two losers in lack of personnality better than the crazy hystercal duo Eric and Ramzy ?

don't watrch this movie if you want to empty your mind laughing. watch it if you're curious, if you can analyse a bit. lot of worse "a little experimental/alternative" films were considered as great movies. but this one suffers from its "comedy" etiquette.

Not funny? I can't think of a more fun movie...
