Who was the girl murdered by the surgeon? Who were the people disposing of the body? Who was really doing the haunting? Meen? Was it Meen who was murdered and dumped into the river?

No, the ghost of Meen had nothing to do with it. The girl doing the haunting was just an obsessed fan of May's. She obviously was poor, but wanted to look like May, so she had some half-a*sed surgeon come to her home to do the surgery for much cheaper than she could ever afford. Things went wrong with the procedure and she died. The surgeon cannot obviously tell the police, because he was doing an illegal surgical procedure in less than sterile settings. So, he gets his friends (family members or fellow 'surgeons', whoever they were) to dump her body in the river, lake, pond, whatever it was.
So, close to the end when May discovers what happened to this girl, she tells the police and they find her body. May erroneously believes that is why the girl is haunting everyone-because she wants justice. However, we find out at the very end, that the girl isn't haunting for justice to be done (at least not completely), but because she wants to be May. When May smiles and then says 'I am May', we then realize that the girl's spirit has taken over May's body.
I actually thought the movie was pretty good, although I do think it started to drag a little towards the end. But, all in all, pretty good.

I understood the girl on the table and what the surgery was, why she was dumped in the river, etc. I understood that Meen wasn't doing the haunting but then didn't understand the deal at the end when May gets "possessed".
So.......who brought her the antique head piece?
Thanks for the explanation. So what's the deal with the mysterious Likae dance that everyone was keeping a secret from May? Perhaps the ghost fan was a Likae dancer when she was alive?
