Not animation...
This is an impressive live-puppet film - but it is NOT animation (as listed here and elsewhere). In particular it is not stop-motion animation, as seems to be claimed in some places.
Very nice puppet film though.
I suspect this puppet film gets called an animated film since there are no living creatures (human or otherwise) on the screen. Then again, it may be the case that whoever does the categorizing places Love and War in the animated column following the assumption that the puppeteers animated the puppets. (Just a guess.)
