Why make this movie?

This was supposed to be a dramedy and failed in both accounts. The story was not engaging at all and it was nothing that we have not seen before but done better in other movies.

The acting was top notch. Snow as the prostitute was annoying, in her lets look at the best in everything way about her. Matthew Broderick character was one of the least likeable in his career.

You just dont care about the characters or anything about it.

4 out of a 10.

Why make any movie? To tell a story. If you don't like the story or characters, that's fine, but not everyone shares your feelings. I'm glad they made this movie. It was entertaining.

It was pretty bad I thought. None of the characters were funny. It was mostly just a bunch of sad people going through life either victims or addicts to their own twisted idea of what they wanted. I gave it a 3 and that's being generous.

@ OP, a 4/10? , cause it was DEFINITELY better than the OP claims it is in my opinion.

i went into it not expecting to much and thought it was pretty good overall.

i had a few laughs here and there and i liked Broderick's character etc etc

at the end of the day i give the movie a solid 7/10.

p.s. either way, the movie is definitely not boring at all cause based on the OP's 4/10 rating... to me that would be a 'boring score' which the movie is definitely NOT boring at all.... i figure worst case scenario for the movie is a 5/10 BARE MINIMUM cause anything under that i just cant take seriously.... me personally though i think it's a 'easy' 6/10... but like i say i gave it a 7/10 as it was funny at times and i overall like the characters, especially Broderick's.

"one of the least likeable" Unlikable characters are normal in black comedies, and some people like black comedies.
