what does "suggested by" mean on steven kings credits
he just suggested this should be a movie? and he get's credit for it?
i'm not really a F?ck up i just play one in real life

King wrote the introduction to Michel Houellebecq's H.P. Lovecraft: Against the World, Against Life (good read, by the way) and in his introduction talks about one time when he was in Lovecraft's hometown and saw a pillow in the window of a store. He said the thought came to him, what if that was Lovecraft's pillow? What secrets would it hold, etc.
He said that he wasn't going to do anything with the idea, but "offered it to the public" to see if they could do anything with it.
