Isn't this island a little behind the times?

I don't know about the rest of you, but this island seems a little BTT (behind the times). I mean here is your character using the most sophisticated equipment available, and the other Americans on the island have freaking rockets on the top of thier mobile home for gods sake. Then your taking you plush pickup with machine guns and rockets built in, and you drive by a truck from 1942! Then you pass a car from 1955. It's frustrating to think that they can be so BTT.

P.S.: "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

yeah dude, the game is set in Cuba, and the u.s.a. doesn't trade with Cuba anymore, and in around the 50's Cuba had more money than any state in the u.s.a was probably smaller than most of them, and the government system wasn't socialist so they had a lot of money to spend so they bought big Cadillacs and nice cars like that, and considering gambling and drug importing (from Colombia) and exporting (to the U.S.) were one of it's biggest money makers, and considering mobsters played a big role in that along with their U.S. appointed president there was a lot of crime, and along with crime and mobsters comes the latest technology in firearms. and so yeah because of all these reasons they had money to bring in 50's cars and now the government system is socialist and so there aren't many independently wealthy people, and where there is no wealth there are no new cars, hence they keep the old ones.

so since i saw that you cared so much i decided to give a piece of Cubas history...
