Probably the worst Coen brothers movie

I will admit that I haven't seen Intolerable Cruelty, but with that being said, the movie wasn't bad. At times it was almost good. Yet, it never really took off. It's obvious that the Coens didn't really put much work into this script. The characters were just about all the same - complete morons with very little depth to them and when you have characters like that, it really doesn't matter how good the acting is.

No, that would be "The Lady Killers." Just bad, from every angle. "Intolerable Cruelty" is a close second, IMO. But that's the risk you take with auteurship: Committing stylistically to your concept doesn't always work out.

This is one of the worst movies I've ever paid to see in theater let alone in general. It doesn't say or mean anything. It's a pointless movie.

This is one of the best Coen brothers movie. Only Fargo was better.
