Piece of crap

Are you kidding me? The storyline was good? They ran out of gas right off the freeway so they keep driving around looking for it while others stay at the "abandoned" very clean modernish house and make themselves comfy. One minute it's clear the next there's snow. The "decades abandoned" house has hot running water. So of course they seperate and take showers. It's as if the story the characters were trying to tell didn't match anything that was actually happening on the screen. They might as well have said "now IMAGINE we are in a remote town. IMAGINE this is an old dilapadated house, IMAGINE...". But even as a book I wouldn't have bought driving out looking for a country home then back to town and back again BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO GAS and can't leave town because of it.

But sure, good story.

Maybe he should have had a little more passion, so that could put out the effort of spraying around a little dust and cobwebs so that it could actually have the mood and atmosphere you're claiming was there. or enough passion to look at a road map. I acomplished lots of horror films of this caliber in the 4th grade with my schoolmates, maybe I should put them out on dvd so I can be as accomplished as kevin higgins. At least Higgins has a friend true enough to defend this "piece of crap," but maybe you should realize that the purpose of this message board is to give opinions about movies, and people can judge if they like a movie or its storyline even if they've never made one, and they are not obligated to come on and say they loved it when they didn't. You can't make a movie and care about the opinions of the viewers.
