The sheriff's accent...

Supposed to be a southern accent? It varies between a New York accent, a southern drawl, and a speech impediment. good god, this movie is bad, but that accent drove me crazy.

What accent? I didn't hear an accent. I heard a god awful attempt for an accent, but no, I didn't hear an actual accent.

In all seriousness though. I'm usually not one to beat down on a movie, especially a low budget horror film like this, but do the filmmakers watch this guy act and think "Wow, he's doing a great job." Jesus Christ, couldn't someone had stopped him and said "Dude just talk normal for gods sake."

Wow... Ya!

I think this fact drove me more crazy then anything else in this God-Awful film... How did the director not catch the fact that this guy cannot act, or at least do a southern accent? He sounds like a mentally challanged person from New York!
Thank God for the guy playing "David", as he appears to be the only cast member who can actually act...

What a trainwreck!!!

Oh I'm much more then that bright boy... Much more...

I have to agree with you guys. Its bugged me too. Its was a mixture differrent accents and i definately heard the new york accent. Personally i thought he was trying to hard by putting so much emphasis on each word and it made the accent worse.

I thought the other towns people did a good job with a southern accent but sheriff was just awfull.

If you notice the movie was shot in New Jersey. The actors are obviously from the New York/Jersey area. Hell, the retarded mechanic guy doesn't even try. He jsut lets his Jersey accent flow.

It's all fun and games 'till somebody gets hurt!
