What is the absolutely stunning car that is pulled out of the garage for the shopping in town? The credits did not give a clue.

It's a Citroen, made in France. Not sure about the model or year.

I believe the car you may be talking about is the Citroen, a Swedish manufacture and quite lovely and designed for safety.

Everything I have read says that Citroen is French. There is no mention of Sweden.

I have not seen the movie, just a trailer, and thus only the upper half of the car, but I'd dare to say it's a Citroen DS (1955-1975), a superb and interesting model indeed.
