If it wasn't for Luke, i wouldn't have watched this movie...

I love Luke, too, and watched this movie for both him & Rachael Leigh Cook. I watch a lot of fluffy movies, but this was way over the top even for me.

She stifled every scene; I thought Luke looked terrible and his acting was dumbed SO far below par that it was...sad. How could he be reduced to this? Why did he accept this role? It isn't as though he's hurting for work. RLC was beautiful as always, but every scene she had she was stifled by JS.

And Penny Marshall? WTF? Did Papa Joe dope all these smart people up or did they all just owe him gigantic favors and felt compelled to say, yes, I'll be in your movie?

Jessica is usually way more tolerable. Her lipstick - what?? Didn't she used to have her own make up line? Oy.

All in all, I had thought it was worth a watch despite bad reviews, despite others saying Luke/Rachael didn't save it, despite JS fans saying it was bad...I thought it might be so bad is was funny.

However, it was so bad it was...sad. I felt sorry for Luke by the end. Sure, he's still a handsome guy, but he looked about as bad as Luke could look.

Pathetic "film".
