Her teeth are porcelain veneers. Any time you see these celebs with "whiter than white" teeth, you can bet they're using veneers. Real teeth cannot naturally get that white, no matter how many times you bleach it.

reply

Not a chance they are porcelain veneers!

Her front two teeth are crooked, which is kind of the trademark of her smile.

If they were veneers, they would be perfectly straight.

Simpson wears bright-red lipstick most of the time, which tends to accentuate her very white teeth even more.

Actually, your teeth can get that white. I was told by my dentist that my teeth are at least 4 -6 shades whiter than the possible color of caps they used for my crown. I bleach my teeth without fail every 4 -6 months due to my being an avid coffee drinker.

But Will was right about the red lipstick or dark lipstick in general. My teeth will always look whiter than others because of my darker skin and the color lipstick/gloss I wear.

In other words, her teeth are very white.

Bleach doesn't dye your teeth white, it merely removes stains and discolouration so they revert back to their natural colour; so no matter how often you bleach your teeth, they can't get whiter than their natural colour, and the natural colour of even the whitest of natural teeth is not pure snowy white like you see in these celebrity "Colgate smiles".

"Bleach doesn't dye your teeth white"
I didn't say that bleach did dye your teach. I just said it whitens your teeth. I don't know what the natural color of my teeth are because I've had them for about 24 years now. However, I do know that I've got a nice Colgate Smile that look snowy white when I bleach them. Sorry if you don't agree with what I see and my dentist says.

Bleach whitens your teeth by removing any discolouration (stains) caused by smoking and certain foods and drinks. So when you bleach, your teeth will gradually revert back to their natural colour, but they will never go beyond that natural colour into pure white because the natural colour of tooth enamel is not that dazzling snow-white colour you see in most celebrity smiles. Your dentist can show you the actual colour chart showing the progression, but basically the natural colour of tooth enamel varies between light yellow to grayish white, so no matter how often or how heavily you bleach your teeth, you can never achieve that perfect pure white colour via bleaching alone, therefore any time you see a person sporting whiter-than-white "Colgate teeth," it's a sure giveaway that they're veneers.

It's not a matter of belief, it's a matter of science. Perhaps, in the future, they'll invent a new type of bleach which can make your teeth get even whiter than their natural colour, but we're not there, yet.

There is also an optical illusion of contrast with the skin, so all other things being equal, people with darker skins tend to look as if they have whiter teeth.

Veneers don't automatically straighten your teeth unless you want it that way. Search for "Cerinate Veneers" on your favourite search engine. Some patients may decide to keep their crooked smile if it's their trademark, especially if that's the way their teeth looked before they got famous.
