Others Think Sona Slept With Chowdhry??

Direct indications of chowdhary's intentions were given only in the opening scene in the movie, where chowdhary convinces Sona to spend time together..

Secondly, when Sona talks about chowdhary to Vikram, the first thing she comes up with is that the guy is married & have kids.

I think chowdhary pretty much used her, to what degree, unknown? But, Sona's conscience was deeply hurt after sleeping with the guy. Coming from a small town, she must have hoped to marry the guy she first gets intimate with.
And knowing that this guy was married, it was practically impossible for her to have a further say in the matter.

Hence, her focus on him being married.

Thirdly, when chowdhary explains to Sona that he would not be giving her the dream break she was desperately waiting for, she was obviously deeply hurt [If you notice carefully, this is important]. When chowdhary tried to hold her hands in a sense to comfort her, she throws him away rather quickly & when chowdhary's wife enters unannounced, they both got rather startled & backed away to create distance. Even chowdhary's wife suspected something & asked again & again what was the matter.

Even so chowdhry's wife was shown pretty gullible, she was quite suspicious of the situation as if it was an obvious fact that her husband was somewhat of an philanderer.

Thinking a little, if chowdhary did ask of sexual favors from Sona, & Sona being compelled to become a big time actress, sacrificed herself, chowdhary would have made it more than clear that something like this could never come out in the open. They both had to be careful of anyone finding out, especially chowdhary's wife, thus the startling.

Any other theories to support or to defy?

Topic pretty much open for debate..

I am 100% sure that Sona slept with Chowdhury. Notice the difference in Sona's behavior in the very first scene and the rest of the film. She is very naive and innocent looking in the first scene, while in the rest of the film (which takes place a number of years later) that naiveness and innocence is clearly gone. The way Chowdhury talks to her, talks about "knowing each other better" and "spending time together", I'm sure that's what he wanted and that's what he eventually got from her. I think Sona was not the type of person to make sure everyone or the wife knows about it, or to do anything to hurt Chowdhury after he lets her down again. Hence it's never mentioned explicitly in the film. I think that's also one the reasons why she cried in the van; because she knows to what lengths she went to get the leading roles, and now she realizes that he has been using her all the time with his promises and smooth talking.
