i just saw this at a screening last night and i thought it was pretty drawn out with sub-par acting (even considering these are only college students). but, it is a student film and i may just be too used to big budget Hollywood films.
anyone else?
i agree, i found the movie to be like something kind of innocent, untainted by hollywood. =D Good film and the cast was great for signing my wallet, chopsticks, and my arm haha =D
sharei agree. the acting was definitely lacking, but moreover, i thought the screenplay was weak (although i don't have the screenplay in front of me, i can just tell from the filming that they should've had a professional/film student edit it b/f filming). in any case, i'm glad i'm not the only one who thought this movie was overhyped (at least at ucla).

Haven't seen the movie yet only the trailer, but for 2000 bucks and a crew of 3 people I think it looks pretty freaking impressive. Acting looks a little weak and the story looks kind of sappy but it still looks good.
