I was expecting crap....

Not what I got from it. Most TMC Splatterday flicks are crap. Most played to death, so stale even the stink is dead crap. This one wasn't. Me personally, I think it's one of the better slasher flicks I've seen in a good long while. I mean a *long* while! Off the top of my head I can't really think of a really solid example of what it might be a derivative of. Totally original? Nahhhh. A scene here and there is a rehash. But all in all, it was pretty darned, original, well played, GREAT cast, and DAMN, that leading lady doc had a rack on her!!! WOW!!!

I wonder if they made body casts....?

I gave it a seven. It beats the hell out of a lot of the crap that's coming out this past few years. I loved the cast! Even the little kid's talented!

Not a bad late night movie at all! Pair this one with that flick from a few years back whereby the lady decapitates folks with the cable gizmo and you'd have a decent night of beer and pizza flicks!

I found it watchable, that's about it. The acting was awful, and I usually don't notice bad acting but the lead detective/writer/director was just *beep* The lead lady doc did have a nice rack tho!

Question about this rack. I started watching and fell asleep and haven't gone back. Do we actually see the rack, or are we left to wonder? I'll "give it another shot" for some classic, American made, film nudity.

I liked it too. Its not the best movie in the world and it won't win any awards, but it kept me interested for an hour and a half while waiting to go to work. I'll say this, its not even half as bad as some of the horribly biased reviews are making it sound. Its like people can only vote 1 or 10 on IMDB.

OT: I think IMDB should force people to have an established account before being able to write reviews. It would discourage or atleast cut down on shilling and reverse shilling and give us viewers more reliable reviews to go off.

I definitely wouldn't pay for this film, but to be fair, there isn't many movies I would pay for. Catching it on demand or on cable(or downloading) would be the wise choice here if your thinking of watching it.

6/10

Well, the acting is pretty bad, which I blame on the writing and directing since I recognized at least THREE actors I've seen before who do know how to act (John Ryes-Davies whom I originally know from Sliders, and then from the LOTR movie series, which is why I tuned in to this movie in the first place), the guy who played Cancer Man/Smoking Man from X-Files, and the gal who played Harmony from Buffy and Angel.

Overall, it kind of had that 40's style acting from private detective movies.

****SPOILERS****

What bothered me the most though, was that these people know the cell doors have been unlocked due to an "error," and most of the inmates are walking around unsupervised, but they all just wander around the asylum anyway? How bleeping stupid is that???

I think that's a great idea and feel the same way about ratings always being either 1 or 10. I myself gave this movie a 4 and I think there are many many many worse films out there.
