Essie the French Poodle

What happened to Essie the French Poodle after the reindeer scared the wolves away?

reply

Exactly what I want to know; I was waiting for her to turn up again. Maybe they cut a little bit for TV? (That better not be the case, because stinking Netflix somehow has the sequel but not this. WTF?!) Seemed as though they were implying that she was going to stay with the wolf who liked her, but how could they just forget about characters like that?

reply

Oh, pfft. Never mind. Just saw the full movie on YouTube. It's a 90-minute feature, and I have no idea why they cut out so many good parts to make it fit a one-hour TV time slot. It's so much better when you see the entire thing. D;

This site's e-mail notifications must be broken...😈

Anyway, she wound up staying with Specs, that wolf she liked. ;) (I feel bad for her humans, though.)

Hey...just wanted to let you know that respectfully when posting an end part to a movie you should preface it with "SPOILER ALERT" so then those who have not seen the film in it's entirety will be for warned not to continue reading your post. Not that I'm making a big deal about it...it is after all a children's animated film we're talking about. Just thought you might want to know that tidbit for future reference if you were posting for a real movie or show or something ;-). This is a pretty cute movie, and much better then the average stereotypical ones that North America seems to crank out nowadays!!

Oh, I'm actually aware of the spoiler tags--I had just figured that nobody concerned about being spoiled would read responses to a "What happened to [insert character]?" question. ;] But yeah, I have to say, this is a real nice movie, and I'm glad they air at least most of it on TV for everyone to enjoy. They don't often "make 'em like they used to" anymore, and this was a pretty good example of a post-90s family holiday film (even if the premise IS about figuring out which of Santa's reindeer had a one-night stand and fathered an illegitimate calf...XD)
