Good Movie, Good Message

I know of so many instances where guys married the best looking girl they can find, which ultimately ended in divorce and heartbreak. I've seen two of my average looking friends marry model-like girls who were not a good match for them, resulting in both of them being divorced for hefty sums of money. I believe deep down they knew they were making the wrong decision , but they were too blinded by the bulge in their pants and the high they got from being with a sexy babe.

This movie should be required viewing for anyone considering getting married. Buyer Beware.

Riiight...and I suppose now that he called off the wedding and flew to Tahiti with his new buddies and his new girlfriend Nadia, that he and she (Nadia) are going to live happily ever after. Because of course, she is a hot girl into him. Just like his fiancé/wife was just a pretty girl who wanted to be with him, and he was so amazed that such a pretty girl would fall for him. So now he's going to actually believe that Nadia - someone 10X hotter than his ex-wife - is actually really going to love him. Okay.

I didn't see the last scene of the movie showing him marrying Nadia. He was just partying with her. Of course there are lovely beautiful women who are worth marrying; you just better be sure that she's not marrying you for the wrong reason.

I never said he and Nadia were going to marry. I said he probably thinks that they will live happily ever after. Now that he dumped his wife, he is with another pretty girl (one who is 10x hotter than his ex) who is paying him the same attention that his ex paid him. Guys like that aren't used to attention from pretty/hot girls. He fell for it the first time around - whose to say he isn't going to fall for it again from little hot Nadia who looks at him admiringly and pays him all this attention - with most likely the intention of separating him from his money, which all girls in that situation (strippers, bachelor party girls) do. He's a sucker.

It's possible, but I don't think that's the point. He's a changed person now with a lot of confidence, and that will take him a long way, but like all relationships, it probably won't last, and that's OK.

No, no, no, the international investment attorney is not going to marry the hooker. Maybe they'll boink on the "guy trip," but then everyone is going to come home and he's going to be friends and stay in touch with her pretty much the same way he's going to be friends with a couple of the other "groomsmen"--like catching a Dodgers' game sometimes.

Per the subject line, I also thought it was a good movie and a good message. The main character is going to be more self-confident now, stop obsessing about hot girls "being with a yutz like me"--and then he's going to be catnip.

Or maybe he'll just be guy-friends with Jimmy for awhile and see what it's like not being lonely.

Personally, I'd much rather spend time with someone new I immediately clicked with as compatible friends than start one of those romances where you're both faking who you are for the first month or two. That sh*t is exhausting.

Women have better health and is happier single for reason. Yup men only value beauty and youth anyway. Women should use her youth for career. Dudes have no loyalty and is so lazy. Its never worth it for women to be married. I've never known women who soul didn't get sucked out from men. Men lust not love. They dump women when sick. Men have no loyalty and don't love. All they do is use or lust and sometimes both. Soul sucking demons. The movie sucked.
