why the hell didn't it stay direct-to-DVD?

who thought it'd be a good idea to release this freaking turd in theaters? i'm pretty sure they knew they had a stinker in their hands, so this thing should've stayed direct-to-DVD. oh but f#@k no! they just had to put it in theaters to see if people would actually watch it.

A lot of money was wasted in making the film, so it was probably an attempt to recoup the losses. That didn't work either.
