Full Episodes 'Everywhere Else' But Here In U.S.

I realize it can become quite expensive to air these shows, but have never been able to understand for the life of me, why they're allowed to view "all" the episodes 'everywhere' else but here? I don't think it's right for the 'loyal' viewers here to lose out while other places get the 'benefits'. That really sucks big time in my opinion.

Where exactly are they being shown? I tried to find out once and didn't have any luck.

I've been upset that fashion house and saints and sinners are being shown over and over again on this channel called ultraHD. They've been on at least once a day for the last 6 months and they must have shown all the episodes a few times by now. I actually get the channel and I'm hoping they'll switch to american heiress but there hasn't been a change yet.

I wish there was someone to contact to try and get this show back on the air or even buy copies of the episodes somehow.

Overseas sales are a way to make a little income on a show. The overseas budgets are smaller, so the shows they get are more obscure and older (not necessarily 'bad' shows - just a different marketability).

There will be a "pay-per-episode" growth in the coming years (I predict), for shows that fall within this group.

(A few dollars an episode, without any distribution costs of manufacturing DVDs,... will prove valuable to the studios, and rights owners, adding several percent to their bottom line - again, I predict). I hate to say, it's just a waiting game.

Try contacting the producer, rights owner, creator,...with yours, and others, desire. If they see enough interest, it may hasten their decision to make the show more available.

Good Luck.

Tony, would you care to hazard a guess as to what these 65-episode series would have cost to make? They would be in the $30 to $60 million range?

I live across from Manhattan on the Hudson and the lead station for the MyNetwork network (talk about a clumsy name!) My9 or WWOR is a couple of miles away in Secaucus. So I have always had an interest in the network, even if its not one I ever watched much.

It seemed to have a pretty good grip on the nighttime soaps, and a young demographic, mainly I would imagine women, and it is hard to believe it is now faring better.

Thanks for the tip about contacting the producers and so on. That sounds a good one. My main interest is in seeing all of the Angela Gots episodes, after her extraordinary performance in February as Nadia in A&E's The Beast. And love that Theresa Russell!
