Killed the couple at the beginning? If the girl and his girlfriend were an accident and the escaped convict apparantly never killed anyone, then who was just running around the scrap yard killing people?
The dude who was about to rape that girl? That was the escaped convict but he was just saving the girl which showed that he was an ok guy.
