I've heard mixed reviews about this game. I love the BF 1942 series and Vietnam, and I read about this one. Someplace I read that you have to install some thing for EA to monitor something you look at on the internet. I may be confused, but has anyone ever had any problems with it? Just wanted to know before I spend well-earned money.

Yeah, I just got it for my birthday and the only problem I've had so far is punkbuster also.
shareI am on an XP Pro system and have never.....repeat, NEVER. Had any problems with BF2142 or Punkbuster. I have applied all the patches and have never had any problems nor did I have any when I got the Northern Strike supplement. So I don't know what is going on but I love the game. Its also the first Battlefield game I have ever owned/played.
