Why does the corpse looked sooo increadibly fake????

is that was just to make the movie funnier or just because their budget was over and they couldnt find anything better? Dont get me wrong i liked this movie, but that corpse and some of the effects looked poor. If the movie had better effects in parts(like the corpse and the guy with half of his head off) and a different ending i could have give it a 8.5/10, cause the plot and directing are very good. But i gave it a 7/10. Still pretty good and too bad its probably gonna be remade.

i think they were going for a comedic effect, wich indeed works,
what ending would you suggest instead?

Bodies do that when they decompose in water for awhile. You can look up pictures of bodies on the beach that cartels left behind, look pretty much exactly like the one in this movie. They retain water and certain types of bacteria cause extreme bloating. The skin turns black and everything bulges out like a balloon..
