While I was watching repeats of the show today Bear randomly killed a big beautiful reindeer by jamming his knife in its head and then proceeded to eat one mouthful of the meat and toss the rest. This guys a monster that's only in it for the money. I hope he falls and breaks his shoulder again, it would be sweet revenge.
while Bear, unlike Les, does not really need to kill to survive the situations he is in, in all fairness, it wasn't really random. The local authorities gave him permission to take out one reindeer. Herds likely need to be thinned on occasion, but yeah, Bear wasted the meat anyway.

In what way does Les need to kill to survive. In case you didn't know this, Les is making a TV show. These aren't actual accounts of him getting lost and then surviving. He intentionally strands himself in the wild, you see. Les does not need to kill any animals. All he needs to do is stop making his show. Then the animals wouldn't have to die.
They need to cancel the whole show entirely, even the re-runs...I saw him kill a pig with his bare hands for no reason, this show is atrocious, I will not only ever watch the show again, but Im done with the Discovery channel and am going to cancel my Verizon satellite service entirely because shows like this on basic cable TV are atrocious!

From the day we arrive on the planet And, blinking, step into the sun There's more to see than can ever be seen More to do than can ever be done There's far too much to take in here More to find than can ever be found But the sun rolling high Through the sapphire sky Keeps great and small on the endless round It's the Circle of Life And it moves us all Through despair and hope Through faith and love Till we find our place On the path unwinding In the Circle The Circle of Life It's The Circle of Life And it moves us all Through despair and hope Through faith and love Till we find our place On the path unwinding In the Circle The Circle of Life
Your poetry sucks, and so do you. Les doesn't have a crew to make him bacon and eggs in the morning, nitwit. So in the context of Les's show, he does need to kill to survive. And he doesn't throw away 95 percent of what he kills.

Hahahaha its not a poem, its a song, and it is not mine. Idiot.

Jesus H. Christ think about what you're saying before you type it. Les CHOOSES to go out and strand himself. He does NOT need to. He chooses to. HE IS MAKING A TV SHOW. His situation is not life or death. I really don't know how I can make this any easier for you to understand. Maybe if you ate some meat, you wouldn't be such a dumb shlt. And you might be able to recognize a Disney song when you see it.

You're outnumbered in your dumbass philosophy. This is just IMDB and you flip out with whoever disagrees that this guy should be allowed to kill whatever he wants for TV. I think you're him. You're a delusional, ignorant *beep* and I can't wait for you to hang yourself when this douche gets canceled.
Awwwwww did I get to you? Was it my mom jokes. You seem really upset. Precious, just give yourself a few weeks to calm down, stop obsessing over my every word --maybe you'll have grown some chest hair by then-- and then come back. Its okay, the embarrassment only lasts for a little while.
Retard, you've never seen Lord of The Rings? Never read the books? There's this creature named Gollum/Smeigle who always goes "preciousss". I can imagine you look exactly the same as this character and have the same amount of friends.
I posted this on a thread in the "survivor man" boards. I'll just paste it here and change the name in it.
Honestly, I don't care if he killed it for entertainment, survival or any other reason. It's a f..cking animal. It,s not like he went out and murdered someone. If Bear hadn't eaten it another animal probably would have. Oh, and did I mention that it was just a f..cking animal.

I laughed. No one cares. I love these people who speak as if they are going to single handedly take down things they disagree with. As if your protests are going to make a damn bit of difference. For every one of you sensitive Sally's there are probably about 50 fans of Bear Grylls and his show. Who do you think the network is going to side with? Again, laugh.

thousands of PEOPLE a day are killed as a result of genocide and you get on here complaining about how a single reindeer is killed on a television show that serves as a means of educating people on the topic of outdoor survival.
it's these type of people that will donate money to sponsor an abused dog or cat and not give a dime to the christian's children fund for starving african families.
also, it's ONE DAMN ANIMAL! it offends you because you see it on your television but you need to realize animals do actually get killed off camera, some in much worse ways, and in greater numbers too.
why don't you just go get on the front lines with PETA.... oh wait, that reminds me...
besides he tried to save to meat but it fell into the water and started freezing, i don't know how much cooking you do but try to take a chicken straight from the freezer and cook it. doesn't work that well does it and to all the people b_tching about wasting the animals by just discarding them, he's in the wild some animal will come by and scavenge the food.
I cannot believe someone like Bear Grylls is allowed to do such atrocious things for the sake of a (sh**ty) show. He is a fu**ed up monster, a bastard, a missed abortion who has no respect for nature and animals. He should die, and shows like these must not be allowed to be made.
Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
