Call me nuts, but...

I think this cartoon needs to be dubbed into English and shown in the US.

reply

no, your not nuts, but you know what? I think the series has been canceled since they stopped to broadcast new episodes on december 7.

The 1st season only had 13 episodes.

If it gets renewed, the 2nd will start next month.

reply

the 2nd season will be in Mexico in a couple of months, i don't know the rest of latin america, it would be nice if it could make it to USA dubbed in english and see the reactions of the american public :)

reply

Actually, the second season has just started on january 25th.
this time they will broad cast one episode only on thursdays.

I am a big fan of the live action El Chavo series from the 1970's. I have a bunch of episodes on those Xenon/Arena DVD's. I haven't seen one episode of El Chavo Animado, yet. Can someone out there please compare and contrast the live action El Chavo del Ocho with its animated counterpart?

reply

GO TO YOUTUBE AND TYPE EL CHAVO ANIMADO.

I saw El Chavo Animado on Univision. It does justice to the 1970's El Chavo, but where's La Chilindrina in the animated version?

reply

I was over at my in-laws house & they have Univision on their TV 24/7...I happened to catch an episode of this & was LAUGHING my butt off! Its pretty clever.

Is Chilidrina missing? What gives? She was one of the essential "kids" along with Kiko & Chavo? Did they get Popees to replace her?
