She plays an actress named Tara. She's in a few scenes. It's not a big role but not small either. Yes she dies. I wont say how though as that will be spoiling.

Mercedes (Or Tara) dies around the 1 hour mark. She is in the house alone, and as she heads outside you see a shadow on the wall behind her. She dives into the pool and swims underwater to the other end. As she surfaces at the other side, a figure is standing waiting for her. Shocked at first, she realises its her boyfriend. She is annoyed for a while, but then sends him inside the house to wait for her. He then goes inside the kitchen and starts preparing drinks for the pair, while listening to music very loudly through earphones. Tara gets out the pool and puts her robe on. As she does so she hears a noise. Stopping for a second, she decides to ignore it and continue into the house. As she is about to enter the phone rings, which happens to be on a table by the back door. She answers it to hear strange noises. She hangs up, turns around and sees the killer running towards her. She sprints away, but is caught by the killer. After a struggle she manages to pull away. Sorry if i get any of the following wrong as the editing is so bad it gets confusing at this point. For some reason Tara stops running and instead turns and looks at the killer, who throws another womans severed head at her (where it came from i have no idea). It hits her directly in the head and i guess she must be dazed by this as she does not even attempt to run or scream as the killer walks over to a wall, grabs a spear off it and stabs her through the stomach with it. The killer rips through her stomach and up into her ribcage with the spear before pulling it out, sending her falling into the pool, staining the water red.
