Just Finished RTK Unabridged

Wow! Long long long. Anyway, here's some random thoughts and aggrivations about characters relating the book to KOEI.

Wei Yen - Where is the idea that he's cocky and corrupt. In the game he's like a barbarian. I think that is way off.

Hsu Chu - KOEI made him an obese retard. He was a brawny dark skinned warrior, I'll chalk this one creative license.

Tsao Pei (yes) Tsao Jui (no)? - You have a king that reigned maybe 5 years and never really fought a battle and not one that reigned for a long time and was really responsible for holding off Shu.

Naman Princes - KOEI missed the frigg'n boat, these guys were so cool. I realize that Shuge Liang just sort of beat them one at a time without effort, but they were really cool.

Lu Pu - This guy isn't important to the overall story, but KOEI failed to note any of his actually important interactions. He was friends with Liu Pei!

Other characters that have been neglected -
Wei
Teng Ai
Ssuma Shao
Tsao Chen

Shu
Kuan Hsing
Shang Bao
Xiahou Ba
Liu Chan
Liu Fang

Wu
Chuko Chin
Ting Feng
Sun Hsun

Many of those characters you said were neglected are in the games; you just can't play as them.

As far as characters who were severely misrepresented, I agree with Wei Yan and Xu Chu, but possibly the most misrepresented character was Zhang He. They turned a brave and cocky warrior into a total fruitcake.

What would a game be without it's andogynous male character?
