Changes to film dialogue? (spoilers)

I’ve watched Resurrection of the Dragon for the first time in 2009 and I quite enjoyed it overall.

Just about a week ago now this year in 2010 I decided to buy the DVD in the UK for the film as it was quite cheap.

However, I noticed that there seemed to be some different dialogue and a few scenes changed slightly in the DVD version compared to the first time I saw it.

I looked online and found a version to watch and compared it to the DVD version and there are some noticeable changes, to highlight a few:

- In the scene the moment before Cao Ying fires the fire arrow towards Han De and the cavalry, her lines seem different and a close up of the bow is removed.

- A significant amount of Luo Pingan’s dialogue to Zhao Zilong at the end seems different too.

- The ending narration is different and a final shot of a turning shadow puppet horseman or lantern is removed.

Has anyone noticed such changes, or know why they were made? Or any good Chinese speakers know the significance of some of the changed lines? Anyone know if there are different versions of the DVD too? Also if anyone wants to see the online version I watched to compare differences themselves to the DVD version then just PM me for a link.
