Gloria Chapman is asian?

She was Hawaiian of Japanese decent.

She seemed like a lonely girl and then just became as crazy as MDC after they got married. The fact that she's stayed with him ever since, moved to NY State to be closer to him for a time in the early 80s, and still visits him just blows my mind.

She also said she proud that MDC finally saw something he planned on through the end in a People magazine interview in 1987:

"I felt a kind of joy for him," she says. "A happiness. Just for like a fleeting thought, you know, I felt relief for him, like 'Hooray.' I mean, I know it sounds crazy, but...I just felt kind of relief for him, that he had accomplished something he set out to do."
