Why "Catcher In The Rye"?
Sure the novel "Catcher In The Rye" has a theme of teenage alienation but is this enough to justify killing someone? Or is it just a case of Chapman being perverted and adding meaning that was not intended by the author to a work of art?
Ironically, his perceived hidden meanings behind The Beatles "White Album" ( basically a race war of black v white) was used by the psychopath Charles Manson to justify killing Sharon Tate and others.
