Ignore the criticism, enjoy it!

Finally saw this last night and not sure why it receives such harsh criticism! All I knew about this movie was the negative feedback it received and how Sandra received a Razzie for her performance. First of all, Sandra was absolutely adorable. I thought Mary was such a likable, quirky and unique character. Yes, she was sometimes annoying, but that was the point and she always had harmless intentions. The movie did lose its focus sometimes as I sometimes wondered, "Ok, where exactly is this going?" But overall I really enjoyed it. I went into it expecting this piece of junk and I didn't think it was that at all. I think Sandra is a good actress so not sure why she received a Razzie, but then again, does anyone take Razzies seriously? No. All the critics made it seem like this was an awful movie, but c'mon, there are worst pieces of junk out there. It's a good enough movie to pass the time. It's funny, cute and makes you feel good in the end.
