Bad English

I really enjoyed the film, a top-shelf war movie and human story, leaving aside all the historico-political nitpicking, but one thing annoyed me...the subtitles!
Some of the expressions and grammar were just wrong, making it read stilted and strange...if they can spend so much on the rest of the production, surely they could hire some decent sub-title editors???
