An almost total waste (spoiler)
I hate movies structured around a brilliant ending, with nothing interesting to offer leading up to it. That's SHUTTLE. The last few shots are haunting (unexpectedly); the 90-minutes preceeding them are not: boring and aimless, with tired dialogue, sh!t acting and a bland villain.
One of the characters, after hours of physical torment and abuse, asks, "Where are we going?" I like the response: "It's dark, wooded and you don't come back." Unfortunately, it's really, really not worth how taxing the rest of this movie is just to reach the payoff to that one clever line.
