Why did she put her badge in front of the camera at the very end?

Perhaps in honor of Colin Hanks'character, could be pride of being a cop. Not exactly sure.

I thought it was just a message to the crazy people watching to see her die. They log off pretty quickly I think...not because the action is over, but out of fear of being traced.
