Tarralyn Ramsey

Just like the amazing Jennifer Hudson, Tarralyn can sang her tail off. Tarra would be perfect for this movie!!!

Sadly, she won't be in this project. Paris Bennett has been cast instead.

What is the whole premise for this movie? I see where it says local choir girl rises to fame but surely it isn't all that smiple. What is the whole under tone of the film?

What kind of logic is that?

She can't sing gospel or sing period!

Then tell me why she was selected to SANG in a gospel film?! Get over ya self, because Ciara's doin' the damn thing, while yo fugly ass complains, so...NEXT!

One thing she won't be doing in this film is SANGING. She's a whisperer.

I've seen her live MANY times and she definitely doesn't whisper!

well as far as plot goes I heard that, yes she rises to fame from the church choir, but Lynn Whitfield plays her mother who is an evangelist. the movie shows how their lives mirror one another, but on both ends of the spectrum of relegion and secular lifestyles. It's been updated from the original stage play and has been re-written by charles randolph wright. There are going to be modern references to the war and things like that.
